Hey Neighbor,

The Space Coast will be Spacing next week! And we are so excited to see it! The Space Coast has always been shaped by exploration, and moments like this are part of what make Cocoa Beach so special.

But first...let's kick off the weekend right with Movies in the Park with a movie that shows off our other loves - surfing, family, and community.

Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park!

As Voted by your Freedom 7 Elementary School First Grade

Join us tonight for one more Movies in the Park before we take a short summer break, don't worry we'll be back this fall with  monthly movies!

This month's pick comes straight from some of our most enthusiastic community members who voted for: LILO & STITCH. Movie starts at 7 PM at Centennial Park (City Hall).

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and your ohana, because movie nights are better together.

Speaking of ohana - Stitch taught us that family means nobody gets left behind - and that includes our pets , Space Coast Pet Fest the next day in Downtown Cocoa Beach.

NASA ARtemis II launch SLS ship

Artemis II

We've got a big moment coming up - reminding us that being part of this community is out of this world.

This Artemis II launch, NASA's first crewed mission in this new era of lunar exploration, is tentatively scheduled for April 1. Launch window opens at 6:24 PM.

With that comes something we all know well - a LOT of visitors. Hundreds of thousands are expected across the Space Coast, which means things will feel a little busier than your average beach day.

Here's what to expect:

Getting Around -Traffic will be heavy through out the day, especially leading up the the evening launch window. If you're driving to your watch spot, give yourself extra time.

This is one of those moments that reminds us how unique our community really is, where space travel launches are just a part of life.

Thanks for your patience and flexibility.
