We're less than a week away from our beloved Surfing Santas tradition, and you can feel the holiday spirit building all round Cocoa Beach. We're looking forward to seeing everyone out enjoying time with family and friends. 

We’ve got some information below that will hopefully help make the week run smoothly — so you can focus on enjoying the holiday fun!

Cocoa Beach Pro Tip: You HAVE to check out Surfing Santas - it's kind of a big deal around here!

Every year, hundreds of Santas trade in their sleighs for surfboards, hitting the waves with big smiles and spreading holiday magic along our shoreline. Grab your coffee, head to the beach early, and catch the most Cocoa Beach way to kick off Christmas Eve.

Traffic & Parking: Expect heavier traffic around downtown and the beach on event day. Plan to arrive early, carpool if you can, and check the Surfing Santas Facebook page for parking info. 

 Be sure to save those details to help keep your holiday surf experience smooth sailing.
Winter camp

Winter Camp

Kids are out of school for the holidays and we have your back. Cocoa Beach Winter Camp is back at the Recreation Center with 8 days of crafts, games, sports, and plenty of holiday fun for kids ages 5–14.

  • Dec. 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31 & Jan. 2
  • Camp runs 9 AM - 4 PM
  • Before & after care available (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

City Hall Hours

Keeping up in Cocoa Beach

City Administrative Office Closures

City administrative offices will be closed for non-emergency services on Christmas Eve, Dec 24 & Christmas Day, Dec 25.

Normal business hours will resume on Friday, Dec 26.

Waste Management

There will be no solid waste, recycling, or yard waste collection on Thursday, December 25th, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

  • Thursday residential garbage: Collected on Monday, December 29, 2025.
  • Thursday residential recycling & yard waste: Collected on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Cocoa Beach Country Club

  • Dec 24
    • Pro Shop & Driving Range: Closes at Noon
    • All cards off the course by 2 PM
    • 19th Hole Restaurant: 7:30 AM to 2 PM with full bar and grab-and-go food only.
  • Dec 25: Closed

Aquatic Center

  • Dec 24: 7 AM - 1 PM
  • Dec 25: Closed
  • Dec 26: 8 AM - 1 PM
