Ghouls on the Green - Frightful Fairway 5K returns! THIS WEEKEND!Cocoa Beach's spookiest fun is back! The Frightful Fairway 5K (formally the Fall into Winter 5K) returns for it's second year on the scenic fairways of the Cocoa Beach Country Club. - Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025

Costumes are highly encouraged - run alongside ghosts, goblins, and ghouls as you chase a personal best or just enjoy a wickedly fun morning! FPL Line-Clearing NoticeIn the coming weeks, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) will be conducting planned tree and vegetation maintenance throughout Cocoa Beach. This work will be performed by FPL’s qualified line-clearing contractor, Asplundh Tree Expert. Residents will be notified in advance if crews will be working in their neighborhood or on their property. Regular vegetation management helps FPL continue providing customers with the nation’s most reliable electric service. Halloween Weekend Safety Reminder! With Halloween just around the corner, many residents and visitors will be out celebrating early at community events and parties this weekend. The City of Cocoa Beach reminds everyone to stay alert and celebrate safely! Drivers: Slow down in neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians crossing the street.
Partygoers: Plan ahead, never drink and drive, and be respectful of neighbors.
