A message from our Stormwater Department: It is not over yet!

Did you catch Friday’s CBNN? We were keeping an eye on that low-pressure system that promised winds and rain this weekend. With stormy weather in mind, our Stormwater Department has an important reminder for everyone!

As part of our ongoing efforts to keep our community safe and clean, please do not place debris, tree branches, or yard waste in curbs, streets, or stormwater inlets.

Leaving debris in these areas can:

• Block drainage and cause localized flooding

• Create hazards for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians

• Make it harder for street maintenance crews to keep our community clean

Proper disposal options include:

• Using designated yard waste collection services

• Taking debris to approved drop-off locations

• Following the city’s regular bulk pickup schedule
