Home Preparedness Family Pets- Food & Water: Stock enough food and water for several days (at least 3–5 days).
- Medications: Keep extra doses of any prescribed medications your pet needs.
- Comfort & Safety Items: Bring their favorite toy, blanket, or bed to reduce stress.
- Identification: Ensure collars and tags are up to date. Consider microchipping if not already done.
- Evacuation Readiness: Have a sturdy carrier or leash ready. Many shelters require pets to be crated.
