Thanksgiving Office Closure

The City of Cocoa Beach city offices will be closed Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th. 

The city will resume normal operations on Monday, December 1, 2024 at 8:30 am. 

Normal Office Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Thanksgiving Weekend!

The City of Cocoa Beach will be busy this weekend! 

  • Wednesday November 27th, 2024,  Cookie Crawl & Tree Lighting - Downtown, sign up at Juice n Java
  • Thursday, November 28th, 2024,  5k Turkey Trot on Thursday at 6:00 am - 10:00 am - Brevard Ave. will be road closed from Minutemen to First Street during the event. https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/CocoaBeach/CocoaBeachTurkeyTrot5k
  • Friday, November 29th thru December 1, 2024, Cocoa Beach Art Show. - There will be heavy traffic and road closures along Minutemen, and Brevard Ave. areas.  Use extreme caution while traveling in this area.   https://www.cocoabeachartshow.org/

Waste Management Holiday Schedule

There will be no solid waste, recycle, or yard waste collection on Thursday, November 28, 2024, as the Brevard County landfills and facilities are closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.  

Thursday residential garbage customers will be serviced on Monday, December 2, 2024. Thursday residential recycle and yard waste customers will be serviced on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
