Lane Closures

Sunday, November 10th, 2024, from 6:00 am - 11:00 am, lane closures along A1A from North Patrick to Hernando Lane in Cocoa Beach will occur. 

Use caution while traveling through Cocoa Beach. 

VFW Veterans Day

Minutemen Closure

On November 11th at 11:00 am the Cocoa Beach VFW Post will be holding a ceremony to honor the day.

Minutemen Causeways between North Orlando Ave. and North Atlantic will be closed to thru traffic from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Please use caution when traveling in this area. 

Waste Management 

There will be no solid waste, recycling, or yard waste collection on Monday, November 11, 2024, as the Brevard County landfills and facilities are closed in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. 

Monday residential garbage customers will be serviced on Thursday, November 14, 2024.  Monday residential recycle and yard waste customers will be serviced on Monday, November 18, 2024.

City offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, to observe Veterans Day. Offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
