Update on waste collection for Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from Waste Management:

As of this writing, Monday, October 7, 2024, at 5:15 pm, all Brevard County area operations are expected to continue as scheduled for Tuesday, October 8.  We anticipate a decision Tuesday morning from Brevard County officials regarding landfill operations for Wednesday. We will update on Wednesday collection operations at that time.

 We ask at this time that residents do not place any large, loose vegetative debris piles (clam piles) or bulky waste (i.e., furniture) curbside, as this is unlikely to be serviced before the storm.  

Tuesday, October 8 residential service will begin at 5:00 a.m. for the following municipalities:  Brevard County, Town of Indialantic, City of Indian Harbour Beach, City of Melbourne, City of Satellite Beach, and City of West Melbourne.  Please ask residents to have refuse curbside prior to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8.
