Take photos with the Easter Bunny and hunt for hidden prize eggs.

TRASH BASH!

As part of the Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) Trash Bash 2024, we have 3 clean-up locations. Join us at:

Downtown

  • Meet at Studios of Cocoa Beach
  • Time: 8 AM

Alan Shepard Park

  • Meet on the beach at Shepard Park
  • Time: 9 AM

What you need to know:

  • Volunteers should wear clothing and shoes appropriate for spending time in the sun and traversing on beach sand.
  • Please bring a reusable water bottle.

North Thousand Islands

  • Meet at Lutheran Church
  • Time: 8:30 AM
  • Volunteers can:
    • Ride to the site on the City Boat
    • Borrow a Kayak
    • Bring your own kayak/canoe/ SUP

What you need to know:

  • Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for traversing on islands.
  • Please bring a reusable water bottle.

TRIVIA NIGHT!!!

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE WE WILL BE HOSTING A MONTHLY TRIVIA NIGHT AT COCOA BEACH COUNTRY CLUB, STARTING WITH THE FIRST MONTH, IN APRIL OF 2024!

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, food and drinks will be available to purchase starting at 4:30 pm with Trivia (no charge) beginning promptly at 5:00 pm.  

This is a great chance to come out, enjoy a fun night with friends or family, and see who will be our first team to walk away with bragging rights!  

First place wins a prize to be used at our restaurant's golf course!

Cocoa Beach Police Department's Shred Event!

The Cocoa Beach Police Department is excited to announce the collaboration with the Cocoa Beach Library for their annual Shred Event! 

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from 10 am to 12 pm.

Easter Sunday

This Sunday is Easter Sunday. There will be several sunrise services along the beaches. Traffic will be heavy in the early morning hours. Please use caution while traveling in Cocoa Beach. 


Where are Lifeguards?

Ensuring the safety of everyone enjoying our beautiful beaches is our top priority here in Cocoa Beach.

The following beach locations will be staffed with a dedicated lifeguard from the Brevard County Lifeguard Core daily 10 am - 5 pm :

  • Central Shepard Park 
  •  Lori Wilson Park 
  • South of the Pier
  • Minutemen Causeway

With the presence of trained professionals, we aim to enhance the safety measures along our coastline, providing peace of mind for all who visit.

However, we also remind everyone to take personal precautions when swimming in the ocean and to adhere to the flag warnings displayed:

  • Green Flag: Low Hazard - Calm Conditions, Exercise Caution
  • Yellow Flag: Medium Hazard - Moderate Surf/Currents, Caution Advised 
  • Red Flag: High Hazard - High Surf/Strong Currents, Dangerous Swimming Conditions 
  • Double Red Flag: Water Closed to Public - High Risk, Stay Out of Water

Your safety is paramount, so please respect these guidelines and lifeguards' instructions on duty.

No Lifeguards at Fischer Park

Your safety is our priority at Sidney Fischer Park in Cocoa Beach. Please take note of important signage to ensure a safe and enjoyable beach experience.

No Lifeguards On Duty: Sidney Fischer Park does not have lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at your own risk.

Exercise Caution: While enjoying the beach at this location, please exercise caution and be aware of potential hazards.

Your cooperation and vigilance are greatly appreciated as we work together to promote safety and fun for all beach visitors.
