Waste Management has recently contacted the City of Cocoa Beach regarding some operational adjustments they are making due to the ongoing excessive heat advisories in our area. The high temperatures have had an impact on Waste Management's services, causing them to experience some delays.

The safety and well-being of Waste Management's employees are of utmost importance, and they have taken necessary precautions to ensure the health of their workers during these challenging weather conditions. The need for constant hydration and additional breaks to prevent heat-related illnesses has led to a slower pace of service than usual.

We kindly request your understanding and patience during this period of adjustment. Waste Management is actively working to manage the situation and mitigate any inconveniences caused by these unavoidable circumstances. As the weather returns to the typical Florida conditions, we anticipate that their services will gradually return to their normal pace.
